John V. Evans Jr., President of D.L. Evans Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jordan Ward to Vice President Commercial Loan Officer at the Ammon branch.
Jordan has been in the banking industry for fourteen years, with twelve of those years at D.L. Evans Bank. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business from Idaho State University, and before stepping into banking, he worked in construction. During that time, he gained valuable insights into the construction industry by focusing on both residential and commercial projects. This experience has proven especially beneficial when working with new business owners who are exploring the development of new buildings.
Jordan started at D.L. Evans Bank as a loan assistant, and his experience encompasses roles such as teller, new accounts, consumer lending, and more. He completed the bank's Management Training Program, which offers education in every lending department position, providing a comprehensive understanding of the institution's operations. As a Vice President Commercial Loan Officer, Jordan will be involved in commercial lending, including the evaluation of loan applications, managing client relationships, and supporting community development initiatives through financial services. Drawing on his prior experience and time on the job, he is well-positioned to guide customers through the borrowing process. Jordan says, “He loves to learn about people’s businesses and how they got started,” and he encourages anyone to chat with him about their business and its needs.
Jordan has been a member of the East Idaho Falls Rotary Club for eight years. He has served as President, President-elect, and has started many charity events in the club to support scholarships, books, and education. He is also very involved with a church organization that helps local people and communities, as well as those across the world.
He enjoys being outside in his spare time, whether it be camping with his family, four-wheeling, dirt biking, snowmobiling, or anything else physical. He constantly wants to be working toward something and enjoys a challenge.
Jordan invites you to stop in and see how he can help you. He can be reached at the Ammon branch located at 2634 East Sunnyside Road or by phone at 208-522-0593.
